This Certificate III apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge to become a fully qualified mechanical tradesperson.

This qualification includes four different streams:

- Maintenance - Fitting and Turning
- Maintenance - Fitting
- Maintenance - Diesel Fitting
- Machining

As well as acquiring trade skills, you will develop a sound knowledge of workplace communication, occupational health and safety, quality procedures, systems and planning, engineering measurements, computations and computer technology.

Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical has been developed for those currently employed as mechanical fitters and machinists in the metal manufacturing, engineering and related industries.
