1. BACKGROUND
1.1 The StudyFinder website is managed by Sites n Stores Pty Ltd. Sites n Stores Pty Ltd is committed to informing you about your privacy while accessing and contributing content to StudyFinder.
1.2 The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to tell you what kind of information we may gather about you when you visit and contribute to our site and how we may use that information.
1.3 This policy applies only to the StudyFinder website.
2. PRINCIPLES
2.1 Collection of Information
2.1.1 Information is collected from you is primarily for two purposes:

2.1.2 There are two ways to access the StudyFinder website:

· As a logged on registered user
2.2 Anonymous Users
2.2.1 StudyFinder automatically gathers information to monitor the use of the StudyFinder website such as the numbers and frequency of visitors. This information is collated from log files which record details of each website transaction and may include the IP address of the user accessing the site.
2.3 Logged on Users
2.3.1 If you choose to register with StudyFinder you will be asked to provide the following information:

· Organisation
· Contact telephone number
· E-mail address
· Area of Study Interest
· Location of study interest
2.3.2 When you publish content, including comments and discussion forum posts, be aware that your name and organisation will be displayed. This is to ensure proper attribution and public accountability of the information published. All other information will not be publically accessible. If a member of the public wishes to contact you, they will be able to do so through an online form. This form will generate and send an email to you. The person completing the form will not see your email address. However if you reply to this message your email address will be displayed as is normal with conventional email.
2.3.3 In order to publish content to StudyFinder, including comments and group postings you are required to be a registered user. By default your name and/or organisation will appear alongside your post which will identify you publically as the author.
2.3.4 As with anonymous users, each transaction conducted on StudyFinder by a registered user is automatically recorded in log files. The username of the registered user interacting with the site may also be recorded in the log file.
2.4 Use of Personal Information
2.4.1 StudyFinder will primarily use the personal information we receive for the purpose of attribution of content published. When you access the site as a logged user, StudyFinder will also use your information to customise your experience. For example your profile page may display information specific to the region you are based in.
2.4.2 StudyFinder will sue the information collated from log files. We primarily only use such data in the aggregate and it contains no identifying information. This collective data helps us determine how much our audiences use parts of the site, so we can improve StudyFinder to assure that it is as useful and appealing as we can make it for the user.
2.4.3 StudyFinder will publish or provide this aggregate, non-identifying data to other people.
2.4.4 StudyFinder will not use individually identifying personal information for any other purpose without your consent with the exception of inappropriate use as outlined below.
2.4.5 StudyFinder may use the information from log files when investigating suspected breaches of the StudyFinder – Terms of Use policy. For example, where the site has been vandalised or material posted under another person’s name without their consent. StudyFinder will investigate the source and take corrective action deemed necessary.
2.4.6 StudyFinder may also use this information to investigate technical issues related to the performance of the site. StudyFinder may use data collected in the log files to identify the source and take corrective action.
2.4.7 In the event that StudyFinder is investigating inappropriate use or technical issues on the StudyFinder website, StudyFinder may share information in log files with Internet Service Providers and law enforcement authorities in order to further investigate the issue.
2.4.8 In circumstances where illegal activity is suspected StudyFinder may make log files available to law enforcement authorities.
2.5 Cookies
2.5.1 A Cookie is a file a website saves to your computer. It records information such as website preferences so that when you re-visit the site those settings are recalled. Unless otherwise blocked within your browser settings the StudyFinder website will set a uses cookie to customise your user experience. StudyFinder uses two types of cookies: user cookies and session cookies.
2.5.2 The user cookie wills tore your user preferences as set when you registered. For users that have not registered only your accessibility option will be stored.
2.5.3 The session cookie will be set each time you visit the site. This session cookie records that you have verified your identity by entering your password. This allows you to publish or view information on the StudyFinder website by entering your password once per session. This session cookie is automatically deleted once you close your browser window or the time-out period has expired.
2.5.4 If you do not want to accept cookies they can be blocked through your browser options.
2.6 Disclosure
2.6.1 There may be occasions where Studyfinder is required by law to disclose your personal information to third parties.
2.7 No sale of personal information
2.7.1 Under no circumstances will StudyFinder sell or receive payment for licensing or disclosing your personal information.
2.8 Access or correct: personal information.
2.8.1 If StudyFinder holds your personal information StudyFinder will where possible provide you with access to the information. If you believe the information we hold is not accurate, you should contact us in writing through the Contact Us form, outlining where the incorrect information is located and how it should be changed. StudyFinder will take reasonable steps to correct the information so that it is accurate, complete and up to date.
2.9 Complaints about Privacy
2.9.1 If you have any complaints relating to online privacy issues on StudyFinder, please notify us in writing through the Contact Us form. While StudyFinder accepts no liability for any material or links posted to the service, we will investigate all complaints.
2.10 Changes to the StudyFinder Privacy Policy
2.10.1 If we decide to change the StudyFinder Privacy Policy, we will post those changes here (on the website).
