The Australian Agricultural College Corporation (AACC) was formed in 2005 when the Australian College of Tropical Agriculture (incorporating Burdekin Agricultural College and Mareeba Environmental College), Dalby Agricultural College, Emerald Agricultural College and Longreach Pastoral College joined forces.
Since 1967, AACC has developed invaluable relationships and partnerships with peak rural and agricultural industry bodies. More importantly, AACC has equipped young people with the necessary rural management skills to ensure a strong work force for the continued growth of Queensland’s valuable primary industries.
AACC combines more than 130 years' experience in agricultural education and training in a range of specialisations, across Queensland located in a range of different geographic and climatic regions.
Choosing this centre of training excellence will give you access to industry relevant-courses, committed expert instructors, and training grounds totaling 59 800 hectares throughout Queensland.
AACC offers you a range of training options—whether you are a school student intent on full-time study or undertaking a traineeship, or a mature-age worker planning to formally recognise your skills, update your qualifications or take on a short course to learn new skills. Entry requirements and option availabilities vary, so speak to your preferred campus or training centre for further information.
