Training can be conduct in your workplace. The courses are designed to be flexible and able to be tailored to your specific workplace needs. This allows you to choose the most convenient time for your employees to be trained, with virtually no impact on normal business activities. Participants receive competency-based training through self-paced workplace program.

Nationally accredited training recognises prior learning or current competencies and provides direct credits and assistance for recognition of prior learning. Each employee receives individualised training that has been tailored to meet their needs.

The Australian Academy of Business (TAAB) is a Registered Training Organisation also offers training in distance education throughout Australia, with flexible learning or study by correspondence. Your employees now have the opportunity to undertake a course of study at their own pace, while balancing other commitments. This mode of study means that your employees can undertake a course of study without having to attend lectures ‘on campus’. Your employees can study from home or in a remote area without having to relocate.

Distance Education is a style of learning recognising that everyone has different needs. Unlike traditional education systems, learning by distance means that you learn away from the classroom. You will not be locked into the conventional start of the year enrolment periods – by taking the Distance Education option you can enrol in a course at anytime throughout the year.

Education is a vital component of many people’s lives, and learning in an off-campus environment caters for everyone’s needs. Distance Education is often referred to as “student-centred learning” because it puts you in charge of your own learning experience: You decide on the units you would like to study you determine how quickly or slowly you wish to complete your course you decide when you are ready to be tested or assessed.
